In October 1990 I visited Lithuania for the first
time. Half a year later I moved to Vilnius, the capital.
Between 1985 and 1990 I was serving in the Royal
Norwegian Air Force at Vard¸ Air Force Station. During those years I was
for 12
months a peace-keeper at the Norwegian
United Nation battalion in South Lebanon (at the very time when the UN
peace-keeping forces in 1988 were awarded the Nobel
Peace Prize).
Between 1982 and 1984 I was working as an officer at the Norwegian
Telecom's Coast Radio Service in North Norway. I have also a
background as a meteorological
observer. Between 1980 and 1990 I was a staff member of NIVFO,
the Norwegian sister organisation of the CSICOP
and got published several books and articles on claims of the paranormal. Other interests are
enclaves
and border points.
Favourite hobby is genealogy and I am also keen on local history as well as amateur
radio. My nationality is Norwegian, I grew up at a
very beautiful North-Norwegian village. I am a member of the Norwegian
Signal Soldier's Association (Sambandssoldatenes
forening). In 1992 I was married
to Rasa, and next year we got a beautiful daughter, Severija Grethe.
I am speaking Norwegian, English, Lithuanian and
a little bit German. Contact me
on e-mail or on the address you find in
the left frame menu under «Kontakt».
